  1. Resources unavailable in SP labs - The message has been changed to "We are experiencing a higher than the normal volume at this time" rather than "Resources unavailable at this time".
    1. This will also be reflected on the API page.
  2. Simplified Chinese language - Continued work on the translated text.
  3. Dynamic Configuration Logs - We created a new logs area in the "Dynamic" section
    1. Go to Dynamic -> Select which Dynamic configuration you want -> Logs
    2. From within here there will now be logging details of any changes on your configuration and who changed it.

  1. Instructor-Led Event Log (Report) - It will input entries in of users who are being assigned/de-assigned from their courses within the Instructor-Led Event Log report.

  1. Lab View - When a user logs out of the portal and they have Lab View open it will now disconnect them from their session. (Previously it would cause the user to still be "connected" to their session)

    1. Behavior for Self-Paced sessions will keep the VMs up and running (keeps the session open)

    1. Simplified Chinese is the next language which we will be implementing in our Phase 2 rollout.

  1. Translations (Phase 1) - All end-users will now be able to select between English, German, French, Spanish from within their Account Details.
      1. All administrative accounts will only be available in English for the time being.
    1. You also may now set the language when creating a new user.
    2. Date and time pickers have been internationalized depending on the language.

  1. Calendar - The student start/end calendar has been changed to have the start date on Sunday rather than Monday.
  2. Options Menu - We have added in an Options Menu that now has Run System Checker, Reload Lab & Reset Lab

    1. Reset Lab - Selecting this option will revert all of the VMs associated to the student along with all of the course content boxes being unchecked.
  3. Course Content checkboxes - There is now a portal-side option that you can switch on/off that allows you to uncheck boxes within the content panel. Previous behavior it would not allow you to do this.
    1. You can change this by doing the following:
      1. Within the portal under Self-Paced go to Learning Series -> Select which version -> Click Edit
  4. Various fixes.

  1. Send text to clipboard fix - There were some characters that were not being accepted. This has been fixed.
  2. Chatroom fix - Chatroom user list would disappear when popping out the window. This has been addressed.
  3. White screen upon entering lab - There was a rare occurrence when a users lab view would bring up a white screen. This has been fixed.
  4. Continued work on the local browser language localization.

  1. Self-paced exercises buttons - We have changed/updated the button structure within the self-paced exercises section so they're much more visible.
  2. Self-paced exercises preview - There is now a preview button underneath the text area within the self-paced exercises section.
  3. Assign users quick search bug fix - There was a bug which randomly occurred and would break the quick search bar.
  4. Self-paced StateSave cards - We have re-worked the state-save functionality. It will now display a "card" showing the Statesave you have rather than the tab as it was previously.
  5. Self-paced lab messages - We're continuing the improve the wording and structure of the lab messages that are displayed to users.
  6. Revert to initial state fix - When many students at once in a lab would "revert to initial state" it would timeout depending on a number of users.
  7. Many various other small fixes.

  1. White space characters *Fix* - Whitespace characters were causing some issues with event names and user first attributes. This is now fixed.
  2. System Checker - We have changed the reading from kB/s to Mbit/s.
  3. System Checker - While using Internet Explorer it will now read a result informing you that there are known issues with Internet Explorer. It will also inform you of the ending support of IE.
  4. Self-Paced lab messages - It was previously not clear when a user has run out of minutes on their course. We have changed the message/wording.
  5. Cancelled/Completed ILT events - There is now a drop-down for ILT events that says "Cancelled" and "Completed". This has replaced "Historical".
  6. Various bugfixes.

  1. Send to clipboard - We encountered an issue with this feature and it has since been resolved and working as intended.
  2. Display names - If a user changes their first/last name on their account it will now be reflected after a refresh on the LabView participant list.
  3. Lab images - We've updated several pages images. The new images can be seen below.

  1. Access Codes - Access codes were present on ILT information when not enabled. They are now hidden if not enabled.
  2. Email TemplateThere will be a new user list substitution to hide instructor passwords in event summaries.
  3. Support Form - When/If you're not logged into an account you will no longer view the left sidebar (this will display only when users are logged in)
  4. Attributes - Attributes have had some fixes/improvements to their functionality.
  5. IE11 fix - IE11 should no longer be causing any issues when using Windows 7.
  6. Keyboard button - There was an issue where the Keyboard button took some time to appear after the VM spun up. This has been fixed.
  7. Many various tweaks and improvements including bugfixes

  1. Email Templates bug fix - When enabling/disabling advanced email templates this was changing throughout the whole portal. This now only changes within each organization.

  2. Links - Couple touch-ups from last weeks new feature.
  3. Self-Paced Content Panel - You can now add videos to your content panel! (This does not directly mean you need to use YouTube.)
  4. Send Text to System - Similar to the feature last week you can now send text directly to the system from the "Keyboard" button in the top right corner.
  5. Search template by ID - You can now search for templates by their ID.
  6. Reports - You can set custom date parameters for scheduled reports.
  7. Various bugfixes

  1. Links - *New Feature* The "Links" feature has been cleaned up and enhanced with a Self-Paced IconJust like before you can edit and create links for your courses, however now you can choose an icon to go with your associated link.

  2. Send to System - *New Feature* - There is a new feature for Self-Paced exercises that is called "Send to System". This feature will send inputs directly to the VM. The screenshots below may give some more insight.

      1. Within the "Self-Paced exercises" area you will now notice this feature. The changes will then reflect to the Course Content which is dependent on the template when the self-paced user launches their VMs.
      1. Once you click on the Send to System icon () the left-hand side of the Course Content it will send over to the VM. You can use the feature anywhere within the VM as you see fit.
  3. Portal UI - The portal UI now functions and responds better with smaller screens.
  4. Course Content - We've addressed an issue where the Course Content would not properly focus when click on within Self-Paced sessions.
  5. Various bug fixes.

  1. We've added in a Lab View connection to Sydney, Australia.
    1. THE FEATURE DESCRIBED (1) IS IN BETA.

  2. Minimum Internet Explorer version is now 11.953 - For browser information please refer to: Browsers, Firewalls and Proxy Settings Supported
  3. Template level classroom links - Trashcan functionality is working again.
  4. Partner feature - You can now enable org level management to your partner's admins.
  5. Event Calendar - Formatting for the calendar has been adjusted. 
  6. Linux VMs - *New Feature* - Copy & Paste from local machine to the hosted VM clipboard had been added. (CentOS/Ubuntu)

  1. The portal is now very fluid and will move around depending on the size of your screen. So if you're to be using a tablet of some sort the functionality of the portal will differ than if being on a browser. The image shown below is as if you were on a tablet. Do note that tablets are not officially supported.

  1. Fixed issue with instructors unable to "Disconnect User" from labs.
  2. Various bugfixes and UI updates to unify design.
  3. Menu names on the left hand sides have been slight renamed. They've primarily just had the word Manage & Edit removed from them.
  4. Instructor viewing the students VM enhancement:
    1. When the instructor is viewing a students VM it will now have a display bar at the top of the page signifying that the student has connect to their VM or disconnected.
    2. When an instructor is connected to an RDP system it will no longer try to continually re-connect when the student is not active. It will now show the message that we're waiting for the user to connect.

  1. You can now create Attributes associated to self-paced events rather than previously where they were associated to the Users only.
  2. The Organizations area has had a few tweaks to it it with the style.
    1. We've removed some of the head links and moved them into the Edit Organization section.
    2. All features are still in place. They've just been moved into the one area. It functions the same way as it did before.
    3. There is the Expand button that has been implemented to condense the sections. The button displayed below will expand the sections.

  1. We have cleaned up the styling of the Labview client from the Instructor-Led perspective.
  2. We also have cleaned up the styling of the Self-Paced interface.
    1. The left hand side looks much cleaner than previously.
  3. There is a new section entitled Manage Attributes under Site Settings
    1. From within here you can create a new attribute which will then be associated to each users account.
      1. Upon creating the attribute you will then see it displayed on each account within your portal. You can then change/alter the attributes dependent on how you see fit.
    2. The attribute names are completely customize-able to how you see fit. 
    3. ex. You'd like to input something like their Company Name.

  1. UI Refresh
    1. We’re happy to announce that we’ve successfully implemented our new UI with absolute ease! We’ve put a lot of hard work into the new UI and are finally happy to release it.
  2. You can now select which default "Assistant" accounts you'd like present on your labs. This will need to be changed through the Organizations section. We currently have it defaulted to supportteam.
    1. Click on User Management -> Manage Organizations
    2. Within the Features section you'll see Support UsersThis is where you can enter the assistant account that you'd like.
